I ended up getting all of this for free from Meijer, CVS, and Walgreens

I got all of this for $29.55. The best part about this is I got $17.98 in ExtraCare Bucks. I will also be getting $20 back from Kelloggs. After all is said and done, I made $8.43

I paid about $31.25 ($2.46 out of pocket, $28.79 with my medical Flexible Spending Account). Those amounts are after I used $28.93 in Extra Care Bucks to get the amount down to $31.25. I got $57.98 back in Extra Care Bucks. Did anyone notice all the chocolate and the feminine hygiene products for that time of the month. Coincidence? I don't think so.

I paid about $2.71 for all of these goodies. Not bad for a day's work

I got all of this for free on Black Friday.  This was mostly from CVS.  I got lucky with the 40 bags of Hershey kisses.  They were on clearance, and with my $1/2 coupons I ended up paying $1.69 for all 40 bags.  I made a few dollars on some of the other stuff, so I basically broke even.

December 11th

Sorry about not updating the site.  I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving and did well on Black Friday.  I was off for 2 weeks for medical reasons, so I wasn't able to do hardly any of the Black Friday deals.  They have a couple of good deals at Krogers this week:  Brawny paper towels, Angel Soft toilet paper, and Pillsbury crescent/cinnamon rolls.  Make sure that you check www.cellfire.com and www.shortcuts.com before you do any of the Kroger shopping.  I think I am going to check out Target with my coupons for the first time.  Wish me luck.  I will let you know how that goes.  Merry Christ

August 27th

This week Kroger is having their Mega 10 sale, where if you buy 10 of the selected items, you will get $5 off instantly.  The Betty Crocker fruit snacks and Nature Valley granola bars are part of the sale.  Go to cellfire.com and shortcuts.com (links are on "My Favorite Links" page) and link the Betty Crocker fruit snacks and Nature Valley granola bars coupons to your Kroger card.  Use the coupons from the General Mills insert from 8/9 for both the bars and snacks.  Purchase 5 boxes of each.  You will end up paying about $10.50 for the first order, but you will get 2 $3.50 Off Your Next Shopping Order coupons, one for each set of 5.

July 30th

This is what I'm doing at Meijer this week:  Ritz, Wheat Thins, and Planters Peanuts.  Meijer has the deal where if you buy 2 Nabisco products, you will get a free Planters 16 oz jar of peanuts. The Ritz Bits and Wheat Thins are on sale for 2/$5. This is what I did. I had 2 of the "Buy any Ritz crackers and get 1 box of Wheat Thins for free" coupons. I also had a Planter c/o for $1.50/2. I bought 2 boxes of Ritz Bits(it has to be Ritz Bits, because the regular Ritz crackers aren't on sale), 2 boxes of Wheat Thins, and 2 jars of Planters for a total of $3.50.  They also have the "10 for $10, get the 11th for free sale going on.  You can get some CoffeeMate creamer, Betty Crocker Warm Delights, and Land-O-Lakes with Canola Oil butter for free.  They are all part of the 10/$10 sale, therefore making them $1 each.  Meijer doubles coupons up to 50 cents.  There are some 50 cent coupons out there for all three items, making them free.

July 29th

I would like to wish my brother and sister-in-law a happy anniversary.

My next class is going to be at ADEC, in Goshen on August 13th.  114 E. Lincoln Ave. in Goshen just east of the court house. Across from poor Tony's resteraunt.  Hope to see everyone there.

July 5th

Not a lot happening this week at Meijer.  They are having their Meijer Brand sale.  Walgreens is also pretty lame this week.

I'm going to get a couple of Febreze Noticeables for free this week at CVS.  It is on sale this week for $6.50.  In today's Proctor & Gamble is a $4 coupon.  The deal is if you buy $10 worth, you will get $5 in Extra Care Bucks.  If you have 2 of the coupons, you can get 2 starter kits for $2.50 each ($5), then you will get $5 back.

                                          July 4th

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday celebrating the birthday of the greatest country this world has ever known.  This is the week to get stocked up on pop and soda.

CVS has a deal where you buy 2 Nabisco products and 1 gallon of Deans 2% milk and you will get $3 in Extra Care Bucks.  I don't think you have to buy the Nabisco products to get the ECB, just buy 3 gallons of the Deans 2%.  The 3 gallons of milk will count towards the monthly deal also.  They monthly deal is if you buy 6 gallons of milk, you will get a coupon for 1 gallon for free.  But wait, the deal gets better.  Go to www.coupons.com and punch in one of two zip codes:  84117 or 84025 and you will find a .75 milk coupon and a $1 cheese coupon on both the front and last page.  You should be able to print each coupon 4 times.  Use the milk coupon at CVS and use the cheese coupon at Krogers.

Krogers has a deal on Kraft cheese.  They are on sale for $1.47.  Use the 4 coupons and buy four Kraft cheese products for $1.88 and you will a checkout coupon for $3 off your next shopping order.

Meijer has the Ronzoni Smart Taste pasta on sale this week for $1.  There are $1/2 coupons out there that you can use.  Go to this link first http://meijermealbox.publishpath.com/?recipe=mb_cf2  and on the right side under "Specials" search for the Ronzoni coupon.  That is a Meijer coupon.  It is also $1/2.  Use that in conjunction with the manufacturer coupon and get 2 boxes of pasta for free.

Martins has the Kraft salad dressing on sale for .99 and there are $1 coupons out there.  I'm not sure how this one will work with the penny difference.

That's all for now.  Have a safe holiday.
