1. Get several (5 or 6) copies of the coupon sheets each week. (You can get extra copies from friends/family that don't use coupons)

2. Know the rules and policies of the stores you shop at. (You can find these at their web site). If you have a favorite store that you shop most often, have their 1-800 # handy. You'll need it when, not if, you run into the "Coupon Nazi" cashiers.

3. DON'T use a coupon just because you have it - wait for the product to go on sale.

4. DON'T shop when you're hungry.

5. DON'T buy products that aren't part of your game plan.

6. Sort your coupons (as you cut them out) according to your preference (I do it alphabetically). I put 2 regular white envelopes in each category, one for coupons and one for rebates.  File the coupons to the back of your envelope and use the coupons in the front of each envelope - (the ones that are oldest or closest to expiring will naturally make their way to the front of the envelope ).

7. My Triple Play: 1)coupon 2)on sale 3)refunds (this is the hardest but most fun part - you can find out about this on the RefundCents web site through my favorite links)

8. Having an ORGANIZATION system is KEY.

9. Do NOT take advantage of the system, because it will ruin it for the rest of the couponers.
